Ra’ed Faridzadeh, Head of Iran’s Cinema Organization, Visits the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema

This Sunday, on the 9th of Farvardin, Ra’ed Faridzadeh, head of Iran’s Cinema Organization, visited the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema following the destruction of part of its building in the early morning missile attacks.
According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, and citing the Public Relations Department of the Cinema Organization, Faridzadeh toured the damaged floors and spaces and was briefed on the production of documentaries related to the Ramadan War and ongoing documentation projects that began from the first day of the U.S. and Israeli aggression.
Referring to the activities of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and its subsidiaries in recent days, Faridzadeh stated: “These days are a difficult experience for our land and people. It is the duty of all of us, especially those familiar with the language of art and engaged with image and cinema, to document the reality of this blatant aggression.”
Faridzadeh described the attack on the Center as part of a broader assault on cinemas, residential areas, cities, streets, and historical buildings, adding: “This demonstrates the terrorist, inhumane, and anti-cultural nature of this war and this blatant aggression.”
Wishing success to the country’s armed forces and all those devoted to Iran who are working during these days, Faridzadeh said: “I wish success to filmmakers, documentarians, and media representatives who stand alongside Iran with responsibility and courage, and I hope that the recording of these images, this solidarity, and this resistance will serve as a worthy tribute to these forces and the people of Iran.”
The Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema was damaged on the morning of Sunday, 9th Farvardin, during the Israeli and U.S. attack on Shahid Ghandi Square, with parts of the building and its studios destroyed in the assault.
